Merlin English Programmes
Online English Programmes for
Every Stage of Learning
Merlin offers online English programmes for learners at different stages, from early English learning to adult communication.
Each programme is designed around the learner’s age, current level and goals, with structured learning, regular interaction and continued progression over time.
STAGE 1 · EARLY YEARS
Early English Learning
Building a Strong Beginning
Early English learning focuses on helping young children become familiar and comfortable with the language.
Through listening, interaction, simple questions and responses, stories, songs and age-appropriate activities, children gradually develop basic understanding and begin to use English for themselves.
At this stage, the emphasis is on building a positive and stable foundation for later learning.

STAGE 2 · SCHOOL-AGE
School-age Learners
Structured English Learning with Clear Progression
Merlin offers a structured English programme for school-age learners, developing listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar and reading together.
As learners progress, they move from understanding and using simple English to expressing ideas, discussing a wider range of topics and communicating with greater independence. Regular interaction gives learners repeated opportunities to use what they have learned in meaningful communication.
Where appropriate, learning may also be supported through Cambridge-based materials and frameworks, providing a clear structure for continued progression.
